No. 667 Flower Large, Speed Hand Drawing

Hello,
Today I recorded ATC #667 Flower Large while I was drawing it. Then I sped up the footage x20. I enjoy watching the flower appear and hope you do too.
I do not sketch these out first, I use micron pens and let them grow from the center out. Drawing the cards is relaxing and I enjoy giving the cards out to people who have been really helpful.

Post Card Set 9-11 Listed in My Etsy Store and a give away

Hello ~

Today I listed more Post Card fronts in my Etsy Store. Sets 9, 10, and 11 are selections from the postcards I am sending my dad this week and next.

Our white bird of paradise is currently in full bloom.he beautiful blooms are around 2 feet in diameter. They are huge! Most years the blooms are at the top of the plants, but this year we have some blooms at eye level and at the base.

We have several orchids in our growing collection and they are slowly coming into bloom. I will be making more postcards of the flowers as they appear.

These beautiful Gold Dust Day Geckos are living in our white bird of paradise plants. The one on the leaf is a hatchling, its limbs are white and its red spots are just starting to show. They can live 10-15 years...

Give away:

Must be sent to a US address.

First 9 people (one per household) who - email me at ArtsyTheta@gmail.com the post card they want to receive along with a name, address, and if it's for someone else - a message and who it's from (otherwise I'll write a message).

Note: Names and addresses will ONLY be used to send the post card, not for advertising or any other purposes. When I have sent out 9 of these postcards I will edit the title of this post to ...a give away (closed)

Glueing the Signatures into the Cover, Part 4 of 4

Hi,

This is part 4 of 4 of my mini series on how I make a lot of my books. In this video I glue the signatures into the cover.

Now, if you have been following along, you will have a book base that you can further customize. You can decorate the cover, add pockets or envelopes to the inside covers, doodle or draw on the pages, and add all sorts of goodies to the pages. Make the book your own!

If you have any questions or make a book from my posts, leave a comment.

Sewing in the Signatures, Part 3 of 4

Howdy,

I have posted part 3 out of 4 of my mini series on how I make a lot of my books. In this video I show you how I sew the signatures to the backing. It's easier to watch than explain with words...

I’m still trying to figure out my sound, my new mic’s cover is the fuzzy bit in the lower left corner, and my video got cut off while I was filming the sewing process for the second time. So, since I want these videos mainly for my own reference, it is what is, and if someone else gets some value out of them, great!
