ATC No. 685 Flower Large

I'm back to drawing Mandala type flowers for awhile. They are a great stress reliever. I may do a Thanksgiving series.

ATC No. 685 Flower Large was done with a dip pen (Hunt Extra Fine Bow Point, 512), brush (Grumbacher, 178, #1) and ink (Waterman, Intense Black). The dip pens I inherited from my mom keep my fingers out of the frame better then the Micron pens do.

I did not sketch this ATC before beginning. My conscious usually has a plan to start with, but often my subconscious takes the drawing in a different direction…
