ATC No. 693 Gratitude

I am having mixed feelings about the Higgins Black Magic ink. It does not always dry as dark as I would like and it is thin. The liquidness of the ink causes it to bleed more than my Daler Rowney acrylic ink which is thick. I love that when the Black Magic ink is dry, it does not bleed. This means that I can go over the ink with water (sometimes lots of water), erasing the watercolor pencil, or watercolor and the ink stays where I put it, lovely.

This ATC I sketched with a dip pen, nib - Hunt Quill 102 & Hunt Extra Fine Bow Point, 512; Grumbacher, 178, 01 paint brush; Caran D'Ache Supracolor II soft 3888, Light Grey 003, watercolor pencil; Higgins Black Magic ink; and Derwent Intense pencils.
